Amity is one of five groups in the Divergent universe that are committed to peace, kindness, forgiveness, faith, self-sufficiency, and neutrality. Members of this faction dress in different shades of red, orange, and yellow. The colors I used in this palette are quite autumn colors. Reds, oranges, and yellows. The tree is the logo for this faction which is why I drew it and put it on teh front of the pallette
Erudite, this faction dedicates and identifies as the knowledgeable faction. They are hard-working and intelligent people. The color blue is generally associated with wisdom, loyalty, intelligence, and faith. It's also considered a calming color. The color also the color of the mind and has a strongly soothing effect. Strong blues are also considered to stimulate clear thought, while lighter blues calm the mind and aid concentration. So the color blue and the faction Erudite have a very strong correlation. The color blue represents this faction because of its strong identification with power and knowledge.
Dauntless is a reckless, fearless, and strong faction. The colors which are closely related to these traits are black, red, and silver. These are the colors I used in the pallette. I drew the dauntless logo on the palette to clearly show which faction this is.
Abnegation is the more selfless faction where they always put others before themselves and work hard to blend in and stay at an equal level as others. A Lot of their personality traits show care and willingness to help others. I then started looking into what the color grey represents or symbolizes in a person. The general view on the color shows a lack of enthusiasm, simplicity, and overall a very balanced color. Grey is also generally a very calm color especially when accompanied by other soft colors such as blue or white.

Candor is a very truthful and honest faction. They believe that dishonesty is what leads to war and friction. Those who lie in this faction are punished to keep order in their society. Their culture is very black and white. They like order, rules and honesty. This faction wears only black or white. This perfectly fits with their culture as they ultimately see everything in one way, as in wrong or right. The colors black and white are complete opposites, they belong on 2 different ends of the color spectrum as in white is the lightest color you can get, while black is the darkest. And generally, when you think about the 2 colors black and white, you think about good and bad, or wrong and right. Like the phrase “black and white”. It refers to the fact that something is very clear and there are only 2 results or options.
